Musical duo Sage is perfect spice for amazing Portuguese restaurant

... Theirs is an eclectic mix. It began Saturday night with “Be My Baby,” before a sultry rendition of “When He Cheats” (Carrie Underwood). Among others were “Come to My Window” and a version of Jefferson Airplane’s “Somebody to Love” re-arranged into a gorgeous ballad. “I Want to Know What Love Is,” a less hysterical version of “Walking on Sunshine,” than the original, and the Bee Gees’ “I Started a Joke” where tucked in there, as well.

That Sage even did “White Rabbit” floored me. That they took it to such heights made the surprise that much sweeter. And while “All of Me” is a standard you’re sure to hear from any number of singers, Maria’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” evoked all the yearning the song expresses -- and then some.
